CUSTOM DYED LEATHER REUPHOLSTERY
We were able to witness incredible craftsmanship with this 1960 mid-century sofa. While removing the existing fabric, we discovered the utmost quality made construction we’ve ever seen. It took us 2 days just to remove the existing fabric - staple by staple, nail by nail.
Luck was on our side in finding a leather this long to custom dye it to match the rug in our client’s apartment. We hand-made all the leather buttons until our fingers were raw!
This sofa construction was truly a work of art and we were humbled by it.
