Heirloom chairs
Alfred was a pleasure to work with on this project. He provided me with lots of options and was patient, attentive, and beyond knowledgeable. He helped me preserve and update a hand-me-down from my childhood all while staying within the boundaries I set. He has helped to preserve and update these chairs for the next generation of my family. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience! —Jared Udell

LEATHER DYING VEGETABLE-TANNED LEATHER. SANDING AND DETAILING TO WOODWORK
These are six chairs in the third generation, made in an amazing quality, the frames hand made in a European beach wood. The upholstery in the old fashion way with jute belts and the best quality craftsmanship. A good reason to give them a new life for the fourth generation ……. with freshening up the white beach frames and to upholster the pieces with a vegetable tanned leather with a wonderful natural grain ……
Below are the original chairs with floral fabric and chipped paint.
Good to see the comparison from the old to the new!
